UAIC and AUSA have come together with Sharesies to deliver a practical, student‑focused session that’ll take you through the essentials of personal investing, from simple step‑by‑step “how to start” guidance to clear explanations of the key terms and issues you’ll actually encounter, presented by Sharesies. Whether you’re brand new or already dabbling with a small portfolio, you’ll get friendly, real‑world insights you can use right away, plus the chance to ask all your questions, basic or advanced. You’ll also learn why starting early (even with just a few dollars) can seriously boost your long‑term wealth and confidence. If you want to understand the markets better, build smart money habits, and feel in control of your financial future, this is the perfect opportunity to grow your knowledge.

This session will run as a one-off on Wednesday the 18th of March. The session will be followed by pizza and the chance to talk to the team from Sharesies. This event is open to all UoA students, please complete the form in our bio to ensure your spot as we have limited capacity.
