The University of Auckland Investment Club was founded in 2009 and is a student-run incorporated society. We welcome members from all academic backgrounds and stages at the University of Auckland.

Our purposes and promises to you, as defined in our constitution, are to:

• Educate members about value investing

• Provide networking events for members to form relationships with fellow members and industry professionals

• Provide competitions for members to upskill in a range of investing and financial disciplines

• Provide educational workshops for members to learn new technical skills

• Provide educational events for members to expand their knowledge on economic events

• Operate an investment fund (to provide analysts with fund management experience)

• Publish a regular bulletin (to provide writers with business writing experience and publish regular economic updates to our members)

• Make an impact on the number of young women interested in pursuing a career in finance
