Forsyth Barr High school stock pitch
The National High School Stock Pitch Competition, in partnership with Forsyth Barr and the University of Auckland Business School is the only opportunity of its kind in New Zealand where students get to learn how to analyse a company from industry experts, and then put their pitching skills to practice.
This competition gives students the opportunity to join a call with the management team of the target company who will talk about their business and answer questions. Students are required to submit their presentation slides via email. From these submissions, a number of teams will be selected to compete in an online heats round in which they present their slides to a panel of senior students for 10 minutes, and answer Q&A for 10 minutes.
Five teams will then be selected to progress to finals to compete for a prize pool. This is held in the Forsyth Barr offices in Auckland
