Direct Capital Private Equity Competition
Want to win your share of cash prizes and present to leading Private Equity professionals? UAIC and Direct Capital are proud to bring you our first annual Direct Capital Private Equity Competition.
The Direct Capital Private Equity Competition challenges teams of up to four students to act as a private equity firm and evaluate a potential investment in an NZX-listed company. Participants must submit a detailed proposal including business and industry overviews, investment analysis, an LBO valuation, and a final investment recommendation. Judging is based on the depth of analysis, clarity of reasoning, and strength of insights. Finalists will present to Direct Capital professionals and compete for cash prizes.
The top five teams will be invited to present live at the finals located at Direct Capitals offices, where you’ll get real-world feedback from industry experts and a shot at cash prizes.

Note, there is no prerequitse knowledge required to participate in the competition. However, all team members must be a paid member of UAIC. If you are not yet, sign up here.
